I'm so counting down the days to R&R :) When I can finally see, hear, touch, smell & taste my
husband! It's been a LONG 4.5 months!
The boys are SUPER excited, as am I. Its only 2 weeks, but it will be the best 2 weeks of our lives.
The sad reality is that he will have to return for another 7.5 months to complete his tour :( Can I be the first to tell you that Deployments SUCK!! They are not fun, not one bit. But soon it will be all over and behind us. In the mean time, I can and will survive this deployment!
On a HAPPY note - My birthday was July 5th! I turned 29 -- My last year in my twenties, I make it a good one :) I have some good friends who celebrated with me. We had a good time - It would have been amazing if my husband were here.
My oldest son (9.5) lost his 2nd molar today! Crazy that he has already lot 2 and he is only 9!!! He was excited that the tooth fairy would visit him tonight.
